Mooi uitlaatsysteem.
Enkele maanden geleden heb ik hem voor het eerst gespot op een Engelse site.
Het is erg afwijkend van de orginele GD opzet.

Nu nog onder je chassis hangen

Marcel, Santa is op het verkeerde adres geweest, zoniet dan was hij te vroeg

Dat zie er geweldig uit. Ik had al van Mischa gehoord dat je hem gekregen had.
Hopelijk komt de versnellingsbak er snel aan dan kun je hem gaan plaatsen.

Het is gelukt hoor. Heb ze vanochtend opgehaald. Nu nog wat minder koud in de schuur, dan zitten ze er zo weer in.

Perhaps mine are more tight due to the galvanising? They are not that tight, but the press helps to put them in straight and more easy than hammering away. I actually have a haynes manual, did i overlook the page you mention?

Hi Marcel,

The UJ caps are not as tight a fit as you might think – if you no not press exactly concentric then they can easilly jam. It is easy enough to tap them in with a bearing drift and a hammer. Also you don’t want to drive them too far as this will make the UJ stiff. When you have got them all in and fitted the clips you will need to knock the caps back against the clips to free up the UJ. There is some info on how to do this in the Haynes Manual – if you havn’t got a manual I can scan the page for you.

It’s a bit embarassing, so I’ll put it in the comments. After finishing up and publishing the blog posting I noticed something odd in the pictures. The radius arm bracket, not used in the GD config, was pointing backwards!! How could I have missed that during assembly??
So, a bit of swearing and off I went again. The second time is a lot easier though.
